Spotlight | #MaskUp | Thank healthcare workers by wearing a mask

Across the United States, resistance to wearing masks has been a mainstream issue for a few months now, even in towns that have found themselves dealing with an increase in COVID-19 cases.

In an effort to engage the public back into prioritizing the healthcare crisis we continue to live in, 100 healthcare centers across the country came together to produce a compelling campaign asking people to please, wear their mask. #MaskUp asks the general public to expand on the empathy initially shown to healthcare workers at the frontline of the pandemic, thanking them for their service, and turn it into action by wearing a mask.

“We put our lives on the line daily to keep you safe. So, do something for us. Wear. A. Mask,”

As we collectively deal with the frustration and fatigue that has come from this global pandemic, it is important to recognize the ways in which we can take action and team up for a better tomorrow. The simple act of wearing a mask can ease the strain many healthcare workers deal with daily – setting them up for success as they continue to guard the frontlines of our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
